Brickyard 400 NASCAR's annual sprint race takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Charlotte Motor Speedway was initially used to host a shorter version. Since then, it has become a popular event with fans of all ages. Jeff Gordon (a General Motors driver) won the Brickyard 400 during its inaugural year. The iconic track logo, a 'G" on the side of each car -- 'G", is also well-known.
