Today's stage one of the Xfinity race is over. We are now ready to tackle Stage two. Here's the quick recap of Stage 1. Will Power, Devlin DeFrancesco, and Alexander Rossi are on the lead lap. Christian Lundgaard just 3 seconds behind.

Stage two of the xfinity Race

The Xfinity Series finished Stage two with Daniel Hemric winning the event. The race was green and white but on the final lap a yellow flag was raised for caution. At the end of lap 5, the top five drivers were involved with a wreck and the top four cars fell out. Ross Chastain, Cindric and Marks were all involved. Bell also got a penalty for speeding on pit road during his pit stop. Although it knocked Bell out of contention to win, he finished eighth.

Gibbs leads the race heading into the stage. Trevor Bayne is next to him. Ryan Preece and Kyle Custer also passed Allgaier during the restart. AJ Allmendinger also passed Allgaier, but he had to pit under the yellow flag.

Allmendinger led seven laps, before Allgaier lost the lead. Allgaier now has a 19-point advantage over Allmendinger. David Gragson however led 39 laps. Allmendinger finally passed him in the final turn and took the lead. Allmendinger, who was unhappy with his team's performance, said that the cars were behind him on laps and that he was "not satisfied".

Today, Watkins Glen will host the Xfinity Series. Sunoco Go Rewards 200 will be held on the track. The race will be held over 82 laps and take place on a dirt track. Byron, Gibbs and Kyle Larson start in front of the other drivers. Justin Allgaier will be at the rear.

Stage one in the xfinity Race

Several times today, the lead has changed hands in the Xfinity race. Justin Allgaier leads the race, with a six-second advantage over AJ Allmendinger. Allgaier is eventually passed by Trevor Bayne and Riley Herbst later in the stage. Later, Allmendinger passes Allgaier to the leader and grabs the lead with just two laps to go.

After a caution flag is waved for a safety car, the leaders are moving. Will Power is in control of the lead, with Colton Herta following him a few seconds later. Alexander Rossi (second), Christian Lundgaard (third), and Pato O’Ward (fourth). Kyle Kirkwood is fourth. He is trying to get into the top 5, but is pulled over by the police and sent back to their rear.

William Byron is sixth and pits from the front on lap 52. Gibbs runs alongside Allmendinger in the next stage and clears him at turn 2. Later, Byron finishes 2nd with Larson side-by. Hemric collides with the tire barrier at turn 5. Gibbs finishes 27th.

The Xfinity Race was initially scheduled for 7:45 p.m. ET, but was delayed by lightning and rainstorms. It is not known how long NASCAR will keep the race delayed. The race typically lasts around two hours.
