NASCAR at Kansas Speedway

The NASCAR Cup Series calendar granted Kansas Speedway an additional date in 2011. The AdventHealth 400 is the event and it is the thirty second race of this season. Kurt Busch is currently the defending race champion. The race will be held in Kansas City, Kansas.

Kyle Busch wins the nascar race in kansas

Kyle Busch won NASCAR’s Kansas Speedway race on his birthday. Busch's car was the No. The Jumpman logo was printed on Busch's No. 45 vehicle. It's the exact same number Jordan wore in his NBA career. Busch's victory was his 10th with a different driver. His win at Kansas follows his Truck Series victory on Saturday night.

Kyle Busch is now the first NASCAR driver to win multiple races in his birthday. This year, he won 18 races from four different manufacturers as well as 11 Cup Series races.

Kansas Speedway wins Denny Hamlin three times

Denny Hamlin won Kansas Speedway for the second consecutive year. It was also his third win in a row. He is joined by Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth, who are the only drivers to have won three Kansas Speedway races. Hamlin also ended his three-race streak during which he had finished 12th or worse in each race. In 2008, he won the NASCAR Xfinity Series race in Kansas.

Hamlin did not win any races in the season's second half. This streak was broken at the Daytona 500. He was in an accident with Kyle Busch that caused a tire blowout. The mechanical problems caused him to pull out of the Atlanta race. His subsequent two races were in the top ten, including one in the Daytona 500.

Joey Logano crashes in practice

Aric Almirola and Joey Logano both crashed in practice at NASCAR at Kansas on Saturday afternoon. Almirola hit the sidewall and crashed into Logano's car. Logano lost control, and veered off-track and into the fence. Luckily, there were no serious injuries. Denny Hamlin won the race after the accident. Hamlin had passed Kevin Harvick in the closing laps and held off Brad Keselowski. Martin Truex Jr. (and Erik Jones) were not as badly injured. Logano on the other side was able eject his car from its wreckage.

Logano had a fantastic season prior to the crash. He finished every race in the top ten. He had won two of the previous four races pole and held a record of 10 consecutive poles. Then at Daytona, Logano wrecked during a pit stop. Logano's No. 42 came into contact with Kyle Larson’s radiator, and was knocked out. Despite this, Logano performed well and placed fifth in the Xfinity Series as well as the Cup Series.

Austin Cindric is fourth

Austin Cindric was proud to finish fourth in the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway. The rookie was just a few seconds away from matching Sam Ard's record, which he set in 1983. Cindric started in the fourth spot and was at the front by lap nine. He led 131 of 175 laps. He finished fourth in the second phase.

There was drama throughout the race. Allmendinger was able to pass Cindric for the lead with just 11 laps remaining. His playoff chances are uncertain. The Xfinity Series playoffs have not been finalized and no driver has won either of the first two races. However, at least three drivers can advance to championship. Next weekend will see the Round of 8 finish at Martinsville Speedway.

Kyle Larson is betting favorite

Kyle Larson is the betting favorite to win Sunday's NASCAR Cup race at Kansas Speedway. Larson is coming off back-toback wins. Hendrick Motorsports driver Larson had +360 odds opening last week. But his Texas win decreased his odds to +235. Larson has won eight races this year, three of which were on 1.5-mile tracks.

Kyle Larson is the odds-on favorite to win the NASCAR Kansas Race due to his dominating Cup Series season. His average finish is 11.8. Last year, he was on his way to a dominant win in Kansas, but was bumped during the restart. Larson is hopeful that he will be able overcome the bump and win his 2nd consecutive race.
