Austin Cindric is fourth
Austin Cindric was proud to finish fourth in the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway. The rookie was just a few seconds away from matching Sam Ard's record, which he set in 1983. Cindric started in the fourth spot and was at the front by lap nine. He led 131 of 175 laps. He finished fourth in the second phase.
There was drama throughout the race. Allmendinger was able to pass Cindric for the lead with just 11 laps remaining. His playoff chances are uncertain.
