Kyle Busch wins at kansas the nascar racing race
Kyle Busch won at Kansas Speedway the NASCAR race on his birthday. Busch won the NASCAR race at Kansas Speedway on his birthday with the No. 45, was emblazoned with the Jumpman logo. It's the same number Jordan wore during his NBA career. Busch's win was 10th for a different driver during his career. His win in Kansas follows his Truck Series victory Saturday night.
Kyle Busch is currently one of the greatest NASCAR drivers who has won multiple races on his birthday. He has won 18 races in four different series and 11 Cup Series races.
Kansas Speedway's Denny Hamlin won three times
Denny Hamlin won Kansas Speedway Race for the second straight year. This is his third consecutive victory. He was joined by Jeff Gordon (and Matt Kenseth) as the only drivers who won three Kansas Speedway race. Hamlin also ended a streak of three races in which he was 12th or worse. In 2008, he won the NASCAR Xfinity Series race in Kansas.

Hamlin had a difficult season, with no wins in the first half. A Daytona 500 incident ended his streak of losing races. His car was involved at the Daytona 500 in a tire accident with Kyle Busch. The mechanical problems caused him to pull out of the Atlanta race. His subsequent two races were in the top ten, including one in the Daytona 500.
Joey Logano crashes in practice
Joey Logano as well as Aric almirola were both killed in Saturday's NASCAR at Kansas practice. Almirola smashed into Logano’s car and hit the sidewall. Logano lost his control and crashed into Logano's car. There were no injuries. Denny Hamlin was awarded the win after the accident. Hamlin had passed Kevin Harvick, but was able to hold off Brad Keselowski. Martin Truex Jr. was not as seriously injured as Erik Jones. Logano on the other side was able eject his car from its wreckage.
Logano had a fantastic season prior to the crash. He finished every race in the top ten. He was the pole winner at two of his four previous races. His streak of 10 consecutive poles was also a record. Logano crashed at Daytona during a pit stop. Logano's No. 42 came in contact with Kyle Larson's radiator and was knocked out of the race. Despite the accident Logano performed admirably and was fifth in both the Xfinity Series (and Cup Series).
Austin Cindric finishes fourth
The fourth place finish in the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway was an impressive showing for Austin Cindric. He was within striking distance of tying Sam Ard's record for four consecutive wins in the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway. This record was set in 1983. Cindric began from the fourth position and moved to the front on lap 9. He led 131 of the 175 laps and finished fourth in the second stage.
The race was not without drama. Allmendinger was able to pass Cindric for the lead with just 11 laps remaining. But, questions remain about his playoff chances. The Xfinity Series playoffs are still not finalized. No driver has won the first two races. Three drivers are still guaranteed to advance to the championship. Next weekend, Round of 8 finishes at Martinsville Speedway.

Kyle Larson has been a betting favorite
Kyle Larson is the betting favourite for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Race at Kansas Speedway. Larson is coming off back-toback wins. Hendrick Motorsports driver Larson opened last week with +360 odds. However, his Texas win has reduced his odds down to +235. Larson has won eight races, three on 1.5 mile tracks.
Kyle Larson is the odds-on favorite to win the NASCAR Kansas Race due to his dominating Cup Series season. His average finish has always been 11.8. Last year, Larson was on his way in Kansas to win a dominant race, but was interrupted during the restart. Larson hopes to be able make up the difference and win his second consecutive racing.
