Kyle Larson is one of the Cup Series drivers who has only once visited Victory Lane at Auto Club Speedway. Larson won there the 2017 race, defeating Brad Keselowski during the last lap to the checkered flag. Larson finished second behind Busch in 2014, and Truex again in 2018. Busch has won 2 races at Auto Club Speedway. He leads the track's most laps as well as the most races.

Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson is currently the NASCAR Cup Series champion, and is leading the 2021 win list. Larson won Saturday's Wise Power 400 race at Auto Club Speedway. It was the second official race for the season and the first Cup Series race at this intermediate track since 2020. Larson had struggled in practice yesterday and the crew overnight made adjustments to the car that allowed it to handle better than the other drivers' cars.

The Sprint Cup Series defending champion had a weekend to remember. Kevin Harvick has never won Fontana's Sprint Cup Series race before this year. However, the win will put him on track for his sixth career appearance at Victory Lane. Kevin Harvick was the class of most of this afternoon's field, especially during the long runs. Over the 200-lap event, six cautions were issued. With three laps remaining Kyle Busch blew a tire, and the lead was lost. However, the team was unable to find a replacement tire.

Austin Dillon

Austin Dillon, despite his victory at the Xfinity Series race in the Xfinity Series, isn't the only driver showing his talent at Auto Club Speedway. His grandfather Richard Childress is also congratulating the young driver. Dillon has been among the top 10 finishers at the 2.0 miles track for the past two years. Dillon is the Auto Club 400's first winner in consecutive years. He will be racing at Daytona in the next 2021 Bluegreen Vacations Duel 2.

Alex Bowman

Alex Bowman won four races in his career, including the Auto Club 400. The Fontana speedway's two-mile Fontana track was the first time the top division driver had won the 24th annual race. Bowman won 110 laps, finishing 8.9 seconds faster than his closest competitor Kyle Busch. He advanced to Round of Eight. Kurt Busch was third and Kyle Busch came in second. Ryan Blaney was the only driver who finished outside the top eight due to a loose steering wheel. Bowman is a good racer but there will be stiff competition this year.
