auto racing news websites

The Gulf Canada Series is making its west coast swing through Edmonton in Alberta, Canada for its next three races. Only three Formula A drivers started the race at Edmonton International Raceway, June 22. Al Pease (who would have been the fourth driver) decided to withdraw from the series because of an oil leak. The remaining Formula A cars were left on the track, but George Eaton decided that he would rather concentrate on other series. In this article, we will take a look at some of the drivers and cars that have made this series one of the most exciting and competitive races in recent years.

Eppie Wietzes

Eppie Wietzes, a Canadian racing icon, drove every vehicle with four wheels, from an Austin A40 engine-powered Morris Minor up to Formula One cars. He competed in Formula 5000 races as well as winning the 1981 Trans-Am title in a Corvette. Eppie Wietzes was elected into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions to the sport. However, his time in motorsport wasn't long.

Bill Brack

Bill Brack, who was born in Toronto, began racing in the early 60s. He drove a Mini Cooper on ice, and competed in races. Later, Brack drove a Lotus 70 Chevrolet in Formula A/5000 Championship and won four races. Brack moved to the United States in 1967 and raced Lotus cars. The Lucid is the outcome of an obsession about weight reduction. It will be powered by an electric motor. At the launch of the Lucid in December 2016, Tyler Schilling, a customer, reserved a car and drove it around the coastal roads of California. The Lucid has more than 17,000 reservations and is on track to produce 20,000 cars next year. Road & Track believes the concept is a great success. But how will it perform?

Ron Tauranac

Many car companies modified Tauranac's cars, including Ferrari, Lotus, and Maserati. The 1968 British Formula One championship was Tauranac's greatest victory.

The DN6 5000

CRL Historic Race Sim Developments announced the Shadow DN-6 Formula 5000 racing car. The car was based on Tony Southgate's design and featured the same production-based V8 engine as the DN5 F1 vehicle. It also used a Hewland TL 200 gearbox instead of the DG type. However, it was far from the F5000 cars. The design was almost identical to the DN5 F1.

McLaren M10B

What is a pitstop?

Pit stop is when you pull over and let another driver drive. This is also known as a pit lane.

What type of cars are used in racing cars and why?

Speed is the most important factor for any race car driver. Speed is what makes them fast. They must be fast enough and strong enough not to lose the lead. This gives them an advantage over the rest of the racers, as they can quickly overtake other drivers at high speeds and pull away from them again when it's not their turn.

Most of the fastest cars are very light. This allows them to accelerate quickly, and gain great speed. However, this also means they have less power which limits how far they can travel in a short amount of time. So they need to use energy efficiently.

Engines power most modern-day racing cars. These engines are identical to those used in passenger vehicles. These engines run on compressed gas instead of petrol. This is because petrol doesn't have enough power to make cars go very fast.

It is easy to be a racecar driver.

It takes dedication, hard work, and dedication. You have to practice all day long. If you don't put in the time and effort, you won't make it.

This dream requires you to be willing and able to give up everything. It's not about winning if your are fast enough.

Many people want to learn to drive, but aren't able to because they don't have the skills. They desire a simpler life.

They want to be able to go home at night with no extra effort. You have to be willing and able to give up all other things if you want success.
